About this notice

This notice covers this website. For questions about your website data or how the practice handles patient records, contact Kennedy Eyecare, 4 Lower Captain Street, Coleraine, BT51 3DT, on 028 7032 7999.

Optional website analytics

If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-L5RZD3PW5T) to understand which pages people visit and whether they click to call the practice or open directions. Google receives technical information such as browser and device details, page visits and approximate location derived from the connection. A click to call measures the click, not whether a call was connected or an appointment was made.

We do not send names, contact details, appointment details or patient records in our analytics events. Our page-view configuration omits URL query strings and fragments. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation, Google signals and advertising user data are disabled in our site configuration.

Your cookie choice

Google Analytics loads only after you accept it. Rejecting analytics does not affect access to the website. Your choice is remembered on this browser for six months using local storage under the key kennedy-eyecare-analytics-consent. This preference storage is used only to remember your choice.

When accepted, Google Analytics can set cookies including _ga and _ga_L5RZD3PW5T to distinguish visits and maintain session information. Our configuration sets a maximum cookie lifetime of six months without extending it on each visit. Server-side data retention is controlled separately in the practice’s Google Analytics account.

Use Cookie settings below to change your choice or withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent disables measurement, removes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site and reloads the page. You can also clear this site’s cookies and storage in your browser.

Google and other services

Google processes analytics data on its infrastructure, which may be outside the UK. For information on Google’s handling of data, see Google’s privacy policy and Google Analytics data safeguards. The website host also processes connection information to deliver and secure the site. Links to Google Maps open a separate service covered by Google’s own privacy terms.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal data, and to object to its processing. To raise a concern, call the practice. You can also contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Choose whether Google Analytics can measure your visits and clicks to call or get directions. You can change this at any time.
